Brevard Community Organizing to Lead Local Protest on August 2nd as Part of Nationwide Day of Action

Brevard County, Fl – July 23 – Brevard Community Organizing will join communities across the country on Saturday, August 2nd, in a major nationwide protest to confront rising authoritarianism and demand accountability from elected leaders.

Local Organizers are mobilizing residents for a peaceful yet powerful demonstration in Brevard County. The event will call attention to growing threats to democracy, the erosion of civil liberties, and the urgent need for civic engagement at all levels.

The rallies will celebrate civic engagement and people power – We’re out here because we see a clear and present threat to democracy. This administration’s actions aren’t just politics as usual – they’re an attack on the very foundation of our rights; we are not staying silent. Let’s unite local voices in a peaceful, and empowering, show of solidarity.
